Serverless - Power to the Black Box!
Summary
Michael Bruns shows for which purposes serverless is a good fit, how it actually works and in which cases it is better to avoid it.
Bio
Michael Bruns works as a developer and architect for inovex GmbH. Feeling a lot more comfortable working with code than administrating servers, he jumped on the serverless train right after hearing about it for the first time. He uses AWS a lot and loves to explore new services they offer.
About the conference
Micro Services are a new paradigm for software architecture: small services in separated processes take the place of large applications. This way monolithic architecture can be avoided, and systems are easily scalable and changeable. The microXchg conference looks at a variety of aspects of Micro Services.
