The "Introduction of Research Opportunities Supported by Japan and e-ASIA JRP" seminar was held in Jakarta on 20 February 2020.
The event was co-organized by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia (RISTEK-BRIN), Indonesia Science Fund (DIPI), JST and e-ASIA Joint Research Program. Its aim was to expand opportunities for joint research between Indonesia and Japan by introducing funding programs conducted by Japanese public funding organizations, such as those offered by JSPS, NEDO and AUN/SEED-Net.
As well as highlighting funding opportunities in both Japan and Indonesia for the audience of approximately 80 people, the seminar featured an Indonesian researcher participating in e-ASIA who shared his joint research experience with Japan and stimulated a fruitful discussion.
We hope that the event will trigger an expansion of research cooperation between Indonesia and Japan.
