Japan has implemented a campaign called "International Cybersecurity Campaign" every October since FY 2012. As part of this campaign, Japan has conducted joint awareness raising activities with ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Member States.

In 2015, as part of the activities, NISC (National center of Incident readiness and Strategy for Cybersecurity) and ASEAN counterparts have co‒translated an IPA's original posters into 8 languages used in ASEAN Member States. The IPA's original posters were developed to enhance awareness to passwords among young population in Japan.

The co‒translated posters have been used by governmental organizations responsible for cybersecurity in ASEAN Member States for awareness raising activities in their countries.
