Around 1,300 students, including international students, are currently pursuing graduate degrees at the Graduate School of Science. In cooperation with the offices of the six GSS departments, the Graduate School Office deals with graduate admissions, course registration, procedures for school registration and overseas travel while in graduate school, certificates, renewal/reissuance of student ID cards, and doctoral dissertation–related procedures.

The International Liaison Office of the Graduate School of Science supports about 80 international students enrolled in the GSS. We deal with matters such as admissions and enrollment registration for International Research Students, arrival orientation, and arrangements for scholarships, housing, and visas. We also offer advice on students' daily life matters and organize various intercultural events to enhance mutual understanding.
