Add a related video to your YouTube Shorts
You can add a related video after you upload your Short to help direct viewers to your other YouTube content. A related video allows you to showcase your Videos, Shorts, and Live in the Shorts player.

Add a related video
- Sign in to YouTube Studio.
- From the left Menu, select Content.
- Click the Short you’d like to edit.
- Select a Related Video from your channel.
- Click SAVE.
Note:
- Adding a related video is only available with advanced feature access.
- The video you select has to be public or unlisted and must follow our Community Guidelines.
How viewers can interact with your related video
Viewers will see a clickable link below your channel handle. A related video is designed to complement your Short and encourage viewers to watch more of your content.
