Tips for taking an Action Pan photo
Action Pan works best when:
- The subject is a person with a visible face.
- The subject is moving. When the subject is still or moves very slowly, Action Pan may have little to no effect on the photo.
- There’s one obvious main subject. Try to keep the main subject in the foreground and in front of any other people in the photo.
- The subject is a large part of the photo and has been in the viewfinder for more than a second before you tap "Shutter."
Tips for taking a Long Exposure photo
Long Exposure works best when you hold your device still. The exposure starts when you tap Shutter.
The length of exposure adapts to motion in the scene, and also depends on the size and speed of the item in focus.
You can use Face Retouching to adjust your skin texture, under-eye tone, and eye brightness.
To turn on Face Retouching:
- Open your Camera app Google Camera.
- In the bottom menu, tap Portrait and then Settings and then Face Retouching.
- Select an option:
- Off
- Subtle
- Smooth
Important: This feature is only available on Pixel 9 and later, including Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
You can now be part of any group photo. Take a group photo, swap with someone to capture another photo, and join the group. The camera stitches together the two versions with Add Me.
[フレーム]- Open your Camera app.
- On the photo mode carousel, tap Add Me.
- Move your camera around to scan the area around the subjects.
- Tip: Make sure you leave room for yourself in the frame.
- Take your first photo.
- Hand your Pixel to another person in the group and join the scene.
- The second photographer needs to align the phone with the frame and make sure you’re in the frame of the first photo.
- Tip: If the frame is red, the phone isn’t correctly aligned.
- When the frame turns white, the second photographer can tap Capture again.
- The camera stitches your two photos together for a photo with everyone in the frame.
Tip: If your Pixel 9 Pro Fold is unfolded and you switch to Add Me mode, the dual screen preview will turn on automatically. As you take a photo, you can use both screens to get a preview of yourself and help position yourself within the frame.
Taking pictures underwater can be hard because of the way light works. Below the surface, red, yellow, and orange light are reflected by the water, so that only blue and green light can be seen in deep water.
