Your data is protected, and is not used to train Gemini Notebook unless you provide feedback. When you share feedback to help us improve, we may review the full context of that interaction, including your queries, uploads, and the model’s responses. Learn more.
To ensure safety and reliability, we may process your data to prevent fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
Google Workspace or Google Workspace for Education users. Your uploads, queries and the model's responses in Gemini Notebook will not be reviewed by human reviewers even when you provide thumbs up or down feedback, and will not be used to train AI models.
- Sharing a notebook does not change the source limit for any collaborator.
- Daily quotas are reset after 24 hours; monthly quotas are reset after 30 days.
- Some users may see a report, flashcards, infographic, slide deck, audio overview, or a video overview created automatically, when sources are first added to a notebook. These are generated once and do not contribute to limits.
- To confirm if you're using Gemini Notebook with upgraded plans, check to see if you have a distinct badge next to your user profile image in the user interface.

Our Privacy Policy describes how Google Cloud handles your data when you interact with Gemini Notebook.
Your uploaded files will remain within your GCP project. Data regionalization is honored.
Additionally all files, chats and model outputs won’t be reviewed by human reviewers or used to improve generative AI models.

Will my generations contain a watermark?
- All outputs generated in Gemini Notebook using Veo, Omni, or Nano Banana include invisible SynthID watermarks. SynthID identifies AI-generated content by embedding digital watermarks directly into AI-generated content.
- To further help you identify AI-generated content, a visible watermark is added to generated images and videos. Eligible users with Google One AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions can control this with the "Visible watermarking" toggle in the drop-down menu under your profile picture. A visible watermark will be applied automatically if you reside in India, South Korea, or Vietnam.
