Update to Advertiser verification program (July 2022)

Google provides translated versions of the Advertising Policies Help Center, though they're not meant to change the content of the policies. The English version is the official language used to enforce Google Ads policies. To view this article in a different language, use the language dropdown at the bottom of the page.

On July 11, 2022, Google will update its advertiser verification program reflecting the addition of South Korea. Google will begin asking advertisers registered in South Korea to complete advertiser verification as part of the phased rollout. The Advertiser verification policy includes example criteria of advertisers who may be prioritized.
