Google will update the Political Content policy to disallow election advertisements in the Philippines.

From February 2022, Google will not allow election advertisements to run in the Philippines during an election campaign period or a silence period. Election advertisements are ads that promote or oppose any political party or the candidacy of any person or party for public office.

In connection with the 2022 Philippines national and local elections, election advertisements will not be allowed to run in the Philippines from February 8 to May 9, 2022.

Notifications will be sent to affected advertisers about this policy update.
