Update to Political content policy (June 2021)

Google provides translated versions of the Advertising Policies Help Center, though they're not meant to change the content of the policies. The English version is the official language used to enforce Google Ads policies. To view this article in a different language, use the language dropdown at the bottom of the page.

Beginning June 1st, 2021, advertisers may not run ads in France or French-administered territories that contain informational content relating to a debate of general interest during the time period beginning three months before the first day of the month during which a general election is to be held, and ending when the election is over. Notifications will be sent to affected advertisers. The Political Content policy page will be updated on June 1st, 2021.
