How to make your screen rotate all by itself

Your phone screen can turn by itself. This happens when you move your phone. If you hold it up tall (like a portrait), the screen looks one way. If you turn it on its side (like a landscape), the screen turns too.

If you use TalkBack, you must turn off auto-rotate, because rotating the screen can interrupt spoken feedback.

To change your auto-rotate setting, follow these steps:

1. Open your device's Settings app Settings app.
2. Tap Display & touch.
3. To turn the Auto-rotate screen on or off, select Auto-rotate screen.
