This is a simple help page designed to be easily understood by new editors. Please focus on essential, straightforward information and refrain from adding excessive details that are more appropriate for comprehensive pages to avoid instruction creep.
Usage
This template should be used as an editnotice for pages in the Help: or Wikipedia: namespaces targeted at newcomers. |addendum= can be used to add extra text at the end. Editnotices using it appear in Category:Pages with simple help page editnotice.
