This is Origami,

Origami Spring is invented by British Jeff Beynon.
How to make
You may prepare A4 size copy paper(or more thin).Cut off an upper quater,divide into 12 equal parts vertically, divide into 6 equal parts horizontally.

Fold and make creases as illustrated above,horizontal and vertical creases are mountain creases,and diagonals in little rectangles are valley creases.
Then fold as described below.
