Now young Mr. Coles had troubles of his own
He had a yellow cat that wouldn't leave his home
Well, here we are. Series V is open and Conwell is rearing to post. I tried to keep this one on the briefer side of things, as reading through all the entries of the 4KCon kind of burnt me out on longer pieces, plus this is a narrative that doesn't need a lot of bells and whistles to be told. I hope you enjoy.
Special thanks to the following who took a look at this as a draft. I had a fair amount of downtime prior to Series V opening for general posting, so a lot of eyes looked at it.

The picture is of my fiance's cat and has been used with her permission. She is a good cat.
On a random, but fun note, this marks my completion of getting an XY60 article for every digit of Y:
Now the planets have aligned, and the great old ones shall return. May their coming cleanse the world.
Anyway, enjoy the article.

SCP-4660s for everyone.
This is good. Nice and short, to the point, got a nice "wtf" moment in there, and there are a few possibilities I can see for what is going on so there's a nice mystery to it too. +1
Sometimes you just need to get in, deliver the punch, and get out.
I'd argue the list you provided above is solid check list for how to write a successful Series I styled article during these Series V times.
All in all, glad you liked it.
6-cat-2.
But seriously, I love this concept. It's quirky and creepy, with subtle implications. +1 from me.
682's worst nightmare. An animal it can't kill.
In all seriousness, glad you enjoyed the article.
If he’s deathly allergic to the cat how did he get close enough to pick it up and hurl it against the wall without even a sneeze?
In my experience, while sneezing is a common symptom of pet allergies, you could have people also experience runny nose, watery/itchy eyes, coughing, itching/skin rash, and shortness of breath in any combination. Just because it doesn't say explicitly in the transcript that Mr. Coles demonstrated these symptoms does not mean one or more were not present. Just that the SCP Foundation employee who transcribed the event didn't find it worth noting, since the immortal cat is by far the more interesting phenomena in the room when compared to mundane allergies. On a different note, what is "deathly allergic" is a rather subjective term. Mr. Coles could be using hyperbole there.
Additionally, I imagine someone who is allergic to a cat who is forced to live with a cat would take a robust regiment of anti-allergy medication.
i hate that you got this song stuck back in my head (ive spent a long time trying to forget those choral songs i sung in grade school), but i really enjoyed this scp! <3
we thought he was a goner
but the cat came back
he just couldnt stay away…
She's a good cat, Matrixkitty.
Glad you liked the article.
Something feels a little off about the dialogue…i can't put my finger on what, but overall take my enthusiastic +1.
Gladly.
If you ever do put your finger on it, be sure to let me know!
My favorite part is when Coles yeets the cat at the wall ( morbid ik but it’s this site we’re talking about )
