This package can edit Apache .htaccess file from WordPress.
It provides a plugin that allows WordPress administrators to edit .htaccess on an administration page.
The plugin can test the validity of the .htaccess file before it allows the changes to be saved.
If the saving the .htaccess file fails due to permission or potential syntax errors, this plugin doesn't update the WordPress configuration and shows an alert to the WordPress administrator.
The plugin also provides a set of predefined templates for the most common and recommended security rules.
Please read this document to learn how to set up this plugin to manage the .htaccess access file for a WordPress site.
