The Back-Solving Assistant allows you to take a mathematical formula, which involves multiple parameters, plug in values for all but one of the parameters and solve for the remaining one. You can also produce a graph that shows the behavior of the formula as one of the parameters varies.

As an example, you can use one of the following formulas:

$y^2\+x^2\=r^2$

$x\+\sin \left(y\right)\=y$

$y_{\max }\=\frac{-2W{\left(l^{}-a\right)}^2{a}^3}{3E{I}_{\mathrm{xx}}\cdot {\left(l\+2a\right)}^2}$
