Finance:-command(arguments)
command(arguments)
Each command listed here is part of the Finance package, so it can be accessed by using either the long form or the short form of the command name in the command calling sequence. Since these commands used to be part of the (now deprecated ) finance package, for compatibility with older worksheets, this command can also be called using finance:-commandname. However, it is recommended that you use the superseding package name, Finance, instead.
Many commands calculate the present value of various objects.
annuity
for annuities with fixed cash flows
cashflows
for a list of cashflows, one per period
growingannuity
annuities where the cash flows increase
growingperpetuity
perpetuities where the cash flows increase
levelcoupon
for a level coupon bond
perpetuity
instrument that pays a fixed cash flow forever
