Each command in the plots package can be accessed by using either the long form or the short form of the command name in the command calling sequence.

The long form, plots:-command is always available. The short form can be used after loading the package.

For a pictorial listing of the available types of plots, both in the plots package and in other packages, as well as other resources for plotting, see the Plotting Guide . Note that this guide is only available in the Standard interface.
