Numeric.isShort

check if the value stored in the Numeric fits into a Java short

Calling Sequence

boolean isShort() throws MapleException

Description

The isShort function returns true if the value represented by the current Numeric object is an integer small enough to fit into a Java short. Otherwise, the isShort function returns false.

If isShort returns true, a call to one of shortValue , intValue or longValue completes without error.
