The Execute command executes an SQL statement using the provided database connection. On success NULL is returned.

This command is intended to be used with SQL statements that do not return any output, such as CREATE TABLE or INSERT.

Use a semicolon (;) to separate statements.

$\mathrm{with}\left(\mathrm{Database}\left[\mathrm{SQLite}\right]\right)\:$

$\mathrm{db}≔\mathrm{Open}\left('':memory:''\right)\:$

$\mathrm{Execute}\left(\mathrm{db}\,''CREATE\; TABLE\; test\; (val1)''\right)$

The Database[SQLite][Execute] command was introduced in Maple 18.
