Monitoring Committee, Japan

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Hisao Fujita, an APEC Architect who is on the Japanese section of the register has passed the Supplementary Assessment Process (SAP) conducted by Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA).

The SAP is provided for APEC Architects pursuant to the bilateral arrangement between Japan and Australia, and the SAP Certificate enables the applicant to get registered in Australian jurisdictions.

He will be the first Japanese APEC Architect to get registered in a foreign jurisdiction through a bilateral arrangement when he completes the formalities.

Japan has signed two bilateral arrangements so far; the one with Australia in 2008 and the other one with New Zealand in 2009.
