Test and Training Vessel UFUK Corvette which is the first project of İstanbul Shipyard and STM for Turkish Navy was launched in our Shipyard premises on 09th of February, 2019. The President of Turkey, Mr. Erdoğan honored us with his presence in the launching ceremony.
2nd vessel of Rescue and Towing Ship Project TCG AKIN (A-584) (RATSHIP-2) was delivered to Turkish Navy on 29th of December, 2017. The Delivery Ceremony is held with the participation of Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces Vice Admiral Adnan ÖZBAL. In pursuit of TCG ALEMDAR (MOSHIP) and TCG IŞIN (RATSHIP-1), TCG AKIN is the 3rd vessel that Istanbul Shipyard delivered to Turkish Navy in 2017.
Istanbul Shipyard built MOSHIP TCG Alemdar attended DYNAMIC MONARCH-17 Military Exercises within the scope of NATO, between the dates 08th – 22nd September 2017, in Marmaris, Turkey. TCG Alemdar operated her rescue systems, especially personnel transfer operation from submarine in 90 meters depth, successfully.

In accordance with the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration's necessity Seismic Research Vessel Contract was signed between the Undersecretariat for Defense Industry and İstanbul Shipyard on April 24th, 2012 and she has been launched with the name "MTA TURKUAZ" on March 28th, 2015.

President of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and it has been visited by 7152 foreign businessmen from 102 countries and 120 thousand local visitors.High Tech Port by MÜSIAD will be held on 6-8 October 2015 at Qatar National Convention Center.

An agreement has been signed during exhibition IDEF’15, between Istanbul Shipyard and Italian weapon manufacturer company Otomelara which plays very active role in the defence industry.
IDEF'15, 12th International Defence Industry Fair, which was held under the auspices and support of the Ministery of National Defence in response of Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TAFF), was realized by the cooperation of Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. between May 5-8, 2015.IDEF International Defence Industry Fair has been held once in every odd year since 1993. IDEF has played an essential role on the development of friendship and cooperation between participant countries. IDEF, as a high technology defence industry fair, incorporating main defence industry branches and their subordinates, is an essential international marketing arena for defence industry companies. IDEF is the biggest defence industry fair in Eurasian region and one of the top four in the world with an increasing trend in terms of the number of participating countries, delegations and companies.
All 5 SNR 17 boats were successfully transferred to the Romanian Border Police in November 2010 with great success. Istanbul Shipyard is proud to deliver the SNR-17 boats in a project financed entirely by the European Union.
