Beacon is a very simple, free date and category driven web site publishing system ideal for individuals or small groups of people wishing to collaborate. It looks like a Blog, but behaves like a Wiki.

We are very happy to announce the release of version 0.1.7 of beacon. New in this release is tagging, allowing people to tag (categorise) articles and HTML support.
