<dt>Free/libre (追記ここまで) access (削除) YouTube (削除ここまで) (追記) methods may not work in the future.</dt>

<p>As a result of the <a href="#free-access">access methods</a> above,
posting (追記ここまで) videos (削除) (except those
with DRM) without running nonfree software. Indeed, (削除ここまで) (追記) on YouTube does not currently put them off limits to (追記ここまで) the (削除) HTML5 Video
Everywhere (削除ここまで)
(追記) free world. That is good, and we hope it lasts, but we cannot count on

<p>If nevertheless you do post a video on YouTube, please (追記ここまで) don't use (削除) such methods, so putting (削除ここまで)

refer to one of the Invidious intermediary sites that accepts visits

<p>One thing about YouTube that is <em>not</em> a moral strike against
it is nonfree software on YouTube (削除) servers — if (削除ここまで) (追記) servers—if (追記ここまで) there is any. We
as possible users of YouTube can't tell whether the servers run any
nonfree software, because that has no effect on (削除) us — therefore (削除ここまで) (追記) us—therefore (追記ここまで)
it doesn't do (追記) any (追記ここまで) wrong to us.</p>
<p>If there are any nonfree programs running on YouTube servers, they
mistreat Google by denying Google control of that aspect of its
computing. We hope that Google will reclaim its freedom by ceasing to
use those nonfree programs, if any. But those programs do not mistreat
the <em>users</em> of YouTube, so they are not a reason to refuse
to <em>use</em> that service.</p>

(追記) <p>It is also possible that all (追記ここまで) the (削除) normal way requires nonfree
JavaScript code. Archive.org at least permits viewing most videos
without you're having to run any nonfree (削除ここまで) software (削除) to see them.</p>
