BandJAM's pretty easy to find:

There's also another GF/DM sim called DTXMania:

Pop'n Music - Feeling Pomu

bemanistyle.com is the only english site with any feeling pomu info including files and all that jazz. It's all in the simfile databese. We have some updates for it and like 200 more bms files for it to put up but we haven't had a chance to get them ready but there are quite a few Pop'n 8 files and all the pop'n 7 files that reo had the note charts for.

DTXMania is much better than BandJAM, and DTXMania even plays BandJam files, so you don't really need it. E7.gif Here's the link to the download page:

http://www.donburi.to/~from/dtxmania/dtxmania.html

Go down and click on "DTXMania034.lzh". Make sure you have an archiver that will unpack it (WinZip opens them I believe).

If you are still interested in BandJam, here's the download page:

http://www.bandjam.net/down.html

Click on "bj0094c.zip" for this one.

DtxMania is the best simulator out there, but for all the trivial freaks:

DrumMidi:

www.hh.iij4u.or.jp/~mmt/drummidi/

DrumingTrainer:

http://kyoto.cool.ne.jp/barike/

Perfect Beat:

http://page.freett.com/yuukiex/

SessionStream:

http://www.din.or.jp/~k-uraki/

Salt's DrumSimulator:

http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconValley-SanJose/2745/

There was a BM98 Drummania skin but the website died that was hosting it...

Yeah, but I can't get it to run well. Damn DTX always crashes on me when I play a song (random sounds accumulate during the song until my PC crashes). It's only because of that that I stick to BandJAM instead of DTX.

Too bad, really. DTX does look much better, but I'm denied...

Try a clean install of DTX mania, make sure you have DX8.1 (maybe even reinstall it) also get the latest video/sound card drivers. Also there could be background programs running that are disrupting your game.

If this doesn't work I'll try to find the beta patch .34e of dtxmania, I would give it to you now but like usual the dtxmania website is down.

edit: ok the website is back up. do a clean install of .34 then apply this patch: http://www.donburi.to/~from/dtxmania/archives/DTXMania034e.lzh

hopefully this can help

Thanks, it's working a bit better now (finally played through an entire song without crashing). It still crashes during songs with guitar notes, though.

I dunno if it's just me, but DTXMania is quite unstable. It crashes at a few odd moments, sounds play a bit erratically (sometimes in sync, sometimes not), and there are a lot of graphical glitches (I can't see the main menu!).

Is it always this unstable? Or am I alone?

Well I think BemaniaDX sucks because I can barely find any damn BMS's and for some of them even if the filename is the same as the BMS (except it won't have the [1P] or [1A] or whatever next to it) I GET NO SOUND!!! frust.gif Plus I can't find any easy BMSes with key sounds at all frust.gif Plus it keeps skipping due tomy crappy compuyter, and about 20% of all Poor ratings I get are blamed on the skipping

I don't know japanese, but I'm assuming the site is dead and they stopped working on RDM. I guess the only way you can get it now is off people who had it beforehand. disgust.gif
