Account Procedures (who gets one, how):
1. How do I get an account on the EECS Instructional computers?
2. What do I do if WebAcct rejects me?
3. What are "named" and "class" accounts?
4. What is the policy for "group" accounts?
5. What happens to expired accounts?
6. UC Extension & Concurrent Enrollment students:
  
  1) for access to EECS computers: get an account from WebAcct
  
  2) for access to UCB WEB sites: get an ID number from UCEX
  
  3) for access to EECS labs: get a key card from Soda Hall
7. MEng & MASIC students:
  
  1) for access to EECS computers: get an account from WebAcct
  
  2) for access to UCB WEB sites: get a CalNet username and password
  
  3) for access to EECS labs: your CalNet card will be activated automatically
8. How can I recover a lost file?
How new users are informed of the rules:
1. account form that new users must read: named accounts, class accounts
2. initial login message for new accounts: UNIX, Windows
3. EECS Instructional Rules of Conduct, including Disciplinary Procedures
