I applied to study abroad in Florence but I really want to visit Venice. Does anyone know how far Venice is from Florence and how to get there?

You can get to Venice by train. The EuroStar is a little more expensive but gets you there in about 2 hours (as far as I can remember) while the regional train will take you about 4 hours!!!
