Land-Grant Week 2025

Bringing the mission to life
OSU's Land-Grant Week connected our campus community with the mission that defines us. Students explored how their education serves a greater purpose. Faculty and staff celebrated their role in advancing knowledge and serving communities. Through demonstrations, interactive experiences and meaningful conversations, the week demonstrated what being a land-grant university means — turning research into solutions, education into leadership and expertise into community impact.

Come Home for America’s Greatest Homecoming
No matter where life has taken you, Stillwater is calling you home. From Oct. 12-18, 2025, this year's Homecoming celebrates Cowboys making an impact across the globe while honoring the traditions that unite us — fountain dyeing, royalty crowning, the Harvest Carnival and Chili Cook-Off, Walkaround and the Sea of Orange Parade. Experience a week of orange spirit and watch the Cowboys face Cincinnati on October 18 at Boone Pickens Stadium.

Civil engineering student targets speeding in Oklahoma work zones Civil engineering student targets speeding in Oklahoma work zones Oct 10

Speeding in Oklahoma work zones has become a critical safety issue, contributing to a rising number of crashes, injuries and fatalities. Between 2017 and 2022, more than 7,100 collisions occurred in work zones across the state, resulting in 91 deaths, including an Oklahoma Department of Transportation worker, and more than 1,200 injuries.
