Well, auto-discovery is only one way to discover, I shouldn't have 
used that as the subject. I wanted to know about discovery by either 
me *or* a UA.
A particular use-case would be like what I do with RSS in Safari or 
Firefox...I browse to a web site and I get notification that there is 
another format in play...
(The resulting discussion was exactly what I was looking for)
