Welcome to University Exploration

University Exploration is the advising and administrative unit for Ohio State undergraduate students who are not yet in a major or pre-major.

There are many reasons a student might be in Exploration:

• "I am interested in learning more about the 200+ majors offered at Ohio State."
• "I have narrowed my options but want to confirm the best fit before I declare."
• "I have determined a major but have not yet met the entrance requirements for my major/pre-major of choice."

Whatever your reason for being in EXP, our team of generalist advisors can help you find majors that align with your interests, abilities, values, goals and previously earned credits.
