| 内容記述 | 本稿の課題は,農家等の経営体による農業生産関連事業の全国的な展開状況について,事業類型や立地条件の視点からあきらかにすることであった。得られた主な結果を述べると,第一点目として,生産関連事業は加工のみや直売のみといった単独の事業とともに,加工・直売,あるいは直売・観光などの複合型など,多様な事業類型が存在し,事業規模としての平均金額は,複合が単独の事業を大きく上回っていた。また,農業部門との関係をみると,事業規模の大きな経営体では,農業部門の販売がなく生産関連事業へ特化する経営体がみられるとともに,逆に大規模な農業部門を持つ経営体の二極化が確認された。 第二点目として,大都市圏からの距離という立地条件から,全国の市町村を3分類し,農業産出額あたり農業生産関連事業の販売額(販売金額比率)という指標により生産関連事業の展開の差の有無を分析した。その結果,直売や観光農園では中心市ほど販売金額比率は高い一方で,民宿では,逆にその他市町村で高くなることが確認された。全部門合計額でみると,販売金額比率が高い直売部門と同様に,中心市で販売金額比率が高い傾向がある。しかし,経営体の視点からみると,その他市町村の経営体で事業規模が零細という傾向はなく,いずれの地域にも小規模な経営体から大規模な経営体が立地していた。事業規模の点では,立地条件による事業展開の地域間格差があるとはいえないだろう。 |

| 内容記述 | This study analyzes the development of agricultural production-related businesses in Japan--farmers' markets, agricultural product-processing entities, pick-your-own farms, farm restaurants, and farm guesthouses--by recalculating data from the 2010 Survey on Collaboration of Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Industries. The study revealed that: First, the farms can be differentiated into the specialized type having only one business activity, such as a farmers' market, and the diversification type operating more than two businesses at once, such as a farmers' market and farm guesthouse. The diversification-type farms generated much higher average sales than the specialized farms. Among farms generating high sales in the agricultural production-related sector, polarization of the sales of agricultural production was observed. Second, we analyze regional differences by creating choropleth maps. The analytic results indicate that the rates of total sales of the five types of agricultural businesses per agricultural output tended to increase in municipalities in metropolitan areas. Although there were differences in the tendencies between these types, as farm guesthouses tended to be located in other cities, farmers' markets and pick-your-own farms had a strong tendency to be concentrated in metropolitan areas. On the other hand, using cross-tabulation tables, we find that the rates of annual sales of agricultural production-related businesses per farm in the metropolitan areas and other cities were almost identical. In conclusion, the location diversification had some effects on the development of agricultural production-related businesses, and there were differences in the effects among the different types of businesses, such as farmers' markets and farm guesthouses. |
