Red Hat OpenShift 4.20 brings significant expansion of support across Oracle's diverse cloud infrastructure services. This enhancement delivers OpenShift's enterprise-grade container platform to additional Oracle cloud services, providing your organization with greater flexibility and choice in your deployment strategy.

OpenShift 4.20 introduces support for five new Oracle cloud infrastructure services:

General Availability:

  • EU Sovereign Cloud: Full production support for organizations requiring data sovereignty and regulatory compliance within European borders

Technology Preview :

  • Oracle US Government Cloud: Specialized infrastructure designed for US federal agencies and contractors
  • Oracle Cloud for UK Government & Defence: Dedicated cloud services for UK public sector organizations
  • Oracle Cloud Isolated Regions: Enhanced security and isolation for sensitive workloads
  • Oracle Alloy: Oracle's cloud-at-customer offering for maximum control and customization

Linh is a Product Manager on the Openshift Core Platform team, where she's dedicated to building tools that solve real-world problems for Red Hat customers. Her areas of focus includes the Openshift Installer for cloud providers, Hosted Control Plane for ROSA, and the Openshift API for Data Protection.
