ACCESS BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Note: License Examination Center = Menkyo Shikenjyo(免許試験場)

From Nagaoka-Tenjin station on the Hankyu line

Take a Hankyu bus #12 (bound for "Menkyo Shikenjyo Mae") from the "Hankyu Nagaoka-Tenjin" bus stop, a 2-minute walk northwest of the station.

From Nagaokakyo station on the JR line(West Exit)

• Take a Hankyu bus #12 (bound for "Menkyo Shikenjyo Mae") from the "JR Nagaokakyo-eki" bus stop.
• (East Exit – Higashi Guchi) The bus stop”JR Nagaokakyo Higashiguchi” Take the bus Minami 2 (To driver’s license testing center. Takeda station west exit) Get off at “Menkyo Shikenjyo Mae” bus stop.
• The bus stop”JR Nagaokakyo Higashiguchi” Take the bus Tokuminami 2 (To Takeda station west exit) Get off at “Hizumeguchi”(5 min. walk)

From Takeda station (Kyoto subway or Kintetsu line)

• Take a Kyoto city bus #Minami 2 (bound for "Menkyo Shikenjyo・JR nagaokakyo Higashiguchi") from "Takeda-eki Nishi-guchi" bus stop and get off at the "Menkyo Shikenjyo-mae" bus stop (in front of the License Examination Center).
• Take a Kyoto city bus #Toku-Minami 2 (bound for JR Nagaokakyo Higashi-guchi") and get off at the Hizume-guchi bus stop. The License Examination Center is a 5-minute walk from the stop.

From Momoyama-goryo-mae station on the Kintetsu line

Walk westward for 10 minutes to take a Kyoto City Bus #20 (bound for "Menkyo Shikenjyo") from the Nishi-otesuji bus stop and get off at the "Menkyo Shiken-jyo mae" bus stop (in front of the License Examination Center).

From Chushojima station on the Keihan line

Walk northwestward for 2 minute to take a Kyoto City Bus #20 (bound for "Menkyo Shiken-jyo") from the Chushojima bus stop and get off at the "Menkyo Shikenjyo-mae" (in front of the License Examination Center).

It is advisable to check bus timetables in advance as the number of bus services to the examination center is extremely limited.

• Walk northward for 4 minute from Kyoto Station (JR,Kintetsu,Subway)
• It is directly connected with the underground ticket gate of Kyoto station (JR, Subway).
  (When using the underground walkway, escalator or elevator is convenient to get to the reception desk in the 1st floor of Driver's License Renewal Center.)
