- Summer Science Camp 2013 (Japan Science and Technology Agency - National Institute for Environmental Studies)
Summer Science Camp is a hands-on learning program administered and implemented by the Japan Science Foundation (JSF) under commission of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and is aimed at High School students with an interest in science and technology (including vocational and technical schools years 1-3). During the program participants can benefit from the unique opportunity to receive practical instruction from researchers and scientists from institutes in the front line of science over their summer holidays.
The National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) will hold two programs as part of "Summer Science Camp 2013". We hope that participants will take advantage of the opportunity to deepen their interest in environmental research by means of activities and experiences aimed at facilitating an understanding of environmental issues in a scientific manner.
Program: "The Environment and Life"
Program: "The Environment and Marine Life of Tokyo Bay – let’s see what it’s really like! "
