Test design/concentrations
96-well microtitre plates, concentrations ranging from 0.00001% to 1% (dip formulation:total volume), 20 degrees C.
Measurements/observations
Viability by phase contrast inverted microscopy. Survival of amoebic cysts assess the presence of trophozoites on amoeba saline plates seeded with Escherichia coli.
