Teaching Materials for Elementary School Students

Who Are Rules for? ~Law-Related Education for Everyone to Think about~

Teaching materials for teachers to carry out law-related education for elementary school students.
Booklets (created in FY 2013) and audiovisual materials (created in FY 2017).
These teaching materials were created to make it easy for teachers who have been involved in law-related education, as well as those who have experienced hesitation when working with law-related education in the classroom.

The booklet consists of four subjects based on familiar and specific cases: "preparations for resolving disputes” and "making promises and the significance of keeping them” for 3rd and 4th graders, and “significance of rules in society" and "freedom of expression and privacy in an information society” for 5th and 6th graders. It also contains content that students can review independently.
In addition, there are practical teaching materials that clearly describe the flow of lessons and points to be considered, such as incorporating lesson plans and worksheets for an actual lesson, and the relationship between each subject and the Course of Study is described so that they can be used in schools.

The audiovisual materials are animated versions of the booklet contents.
Each of the animations (“Let’s think about how to stop fights!”, “What is a promise?”, “What is the truth?”, “Kimekime Kingdom”, and “Think before you post!”) are about 15 minutes long.
They are divided into chapters by scene such as "proposing problems" and "commentary" with the law-related education mascot character "Hourisu-kun", and it is possible not only to copy it in its entirety but also to use it partially depending on the class plan.
