Courtesy Visit to the Minister of Justice by the President of the International Criminal Court (ICC)
On June 11 (Tue), 2024, Minister Koizumi Ryuji received a courtesy visit by Ms. Akane Tomoko, the President of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Minister Koizumi welcomed Ms. Akane who was a former MOJ official and expressed his congratulations on her election as the President of the ICC on March 11, 2024. The Minister exchanged his views on the cooperation between MOJ and the ICC with the President.
The Minister also agreed with the President on committing to continuing to develop human resources in the international legal field.
