Justice Minister Receives Courtesy Call from Ambassador of the United Kingdom (June 7, 2021)
On June 7, 2021, Minister Kamikawa met H.E. Ms. Julia LONGBOTTOM CMG, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Japan, at the Ministry of Justice of Japan.
Minister Kamikawa introduced the “Justice affairs diplomacy,” an initiative aimed at promoting fundamental values such as the rule of law and respect for fundamental human rights across the board.
Ambassador and Minister also confirmed the significance of strengthening the close relationship between Japan and the United Kingdom in the field of legal and judicial affairs.
