Justice Minister Receives Courtesy Call from Chargé d’affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the United States in Japan On April 13, 2021.

On April 13, 2021, Minister Kamikawa met Mr. Joseph M. Young, Chargé d’affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the United States, at the Ministry of Justice of Japan.

Throughout their conversation, they confirmed the importance of close partnership between the U.S. and Japan in the field of justice for a Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP). They also stressed the necessity of international cooperation for the further development of the rule of law across the world.
