Japan and Viet Nam Exchange Memorandum of Cooperation

On October 19, 2020, in Hanoi, Viet Nam, a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) was exchanged between H.E. YAMADA Takio, Ambassador of Japan to Viet Nam, and H.E. Le Thanh Long, Minister of Justice of Viet Nam, witnessed by H.E. SUGA Yoshihide, Prime Minister of Japan, and H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
The Ministry of Justice of Japan has developed a cooperative relationship with the Ministry of Justice of Viet Nam, for example, through providing legal technical assistance and developing human resources. The MOC will strengthen this relationship in the field of legal and justice affairs.
