Justice Minister received a courtesy call from 23 criminal justice practitioners on January 22, 2020.

On January 22, 2020, Justice Minister Mori received a courtesy call from the participants of the 174th International Senior Seminar of the United Nations Asia and Far East Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders (UNAFEI). 16 overseas participants from 13 countries and 7 Japanese participants are participating in a five-week seminar on the subject of “the Prevention of Reoffending and Fostering Social Inclusion: From Policy to Good Practice”.

Minister Mori welcomed the participants and wished them a fruitful seminar and an enjoyable stay in Japan. At the same time, she referred the Fourteenth United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, which is to be held in Kyoto in April 2020.
