The Certificate of Free Sale for feed, pet food and feed additive is to certify that the product mentioned in the certificate is readily available for sale in Japan without restriction.
The Certificate of Free Sale for feed, pet food and feed additive is not intended to certify the safety of individual products.
Scopes of the scheme are as follows.
substance to be used as nutrition for animal, substance to be consumed by animal (except for pharmaceutical products, quasi-pharmaceutical products or regenerative medical products).
substance to be used as nutrition for pet
substance to be used in feed and pet food by adding, mixing, infiltrating, etc. for the purpose of preventing deterioration of quality of feed and pet food, supplying nutrient ingredients and other effective ingredients of feed and pet food, promoting efficient use of nutrient ingredients in feed and pet food, etc.
