Setting up usage environment

(1) Enable the use of Java Script

When changing “Security level”

  • In Internet Explorer, click “Internet options” in the “Tool” menu at the top of the browser.
  • Click the “Security” tab.
  • Turn the “Security level of this zone” knob to “Middle,” and click on the “OK” button.
    (If this knob is not displayed, click on the “Pre-set level” button.)

When customizing “Security level”

  • In Internet Explorer, click on “Internet option” in the “Tool” menu at the top of the browser.
  • Click on the “Security” tab.
  • Click on the “Level customizing” button.
  • Check “Enable” in “Active script” and click on the “OK” button.
  • Click on the “OK” button.

(2) Enable Cookie s

When changing “Privacy settings”

  • In Internet Explorer, click on “Internet option” in the “Tool” menu at the top of the browser.
  • Click on the “Privacy” tab.
  • Turn the “Security level of this zone” knob to “Middle-High,” and click on the “OK” button.
    (If this knob is not displayed, click on the “Pre-set level” button.)

When customizing “Privacy settings”

  • In Internet Explorer, click on “Internet option” in the “Tool” menu at the top of the browser.
  • Click on the “Privacy” tab.
  • Click on the “Detail settings” button.
  • Check “Overwrite automatic cookie processing.”
  • Check “Always permit session cookie” and click on the “OK” button.
  • Click on the “OK” button.

(3) Enable the use of TLS

  • In Internet Explorer, click on “Internet option” in the “Tool” menu at the top of the browser.
  • Click on the “Detail settings” tab.
  • Check “Use TLS1 .0,” and click on the “OK” button.

(4) Enable Popup

* A new function, “Popup block,” has been added to the Windows XP Service Pack 2 (hereinafter referred to as SP2)
in the initial condition of this function, a Pop-up window in the contents section may not be visible.
If you use SP2, please adjust settings to “Canceling of the pop-up block.”

Confirmation of the version of WindowsXP

  • Select “My computer” on the desktop and right-click on “Properties.”
  • Confirm whether the “System” item in the “General” tab is “Service Pack 2.”

How to cancel “Pop-up block”

  • In Internet Explorer, click on “Internet option” in the “Tool” menu at the top of the browser.
  • Click on the “Privacy” tab.
  • Click on the “Settings” button of the popup block.
  • Input “*jisc.go.jp” in “Website addresses to permit” and click on the “Add” button.
  • Confirm that “*jisc.go.jp” has been added to “Website addresses to permit” and click on the “Close” button.
  • Click on the “OK” button.
