JICA President Tanaka Met with World Bank Group President Banga

On December 5, JICA President Tanaka Akihiko met with the World Bank Group President Ajay Banga at JICA Headquarters in Tokyo.

JICA and the World Bank Group conduct annual high-level consultations "Deep Dive" to maximize development cooperation impacts through strategic collaboration.

During the meeting, both parties reviewed past achievements and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen their partnership. They also exchanged views on potential collaboration, specifically in global health, the Pacific region, Africa, and private sector finance.
