The Terrestrial Publication and Registration Division (TPR) is responsible for the processing of information submitted by the administrations for updating the Master International Frequency Register (MIFR), Terrestrial Plans, List of Coast Stations (List IV), List of Ship Stations (List V), List of International Monitoring Stations (List VIII), etc. and the preparation of the corresponding service publications.
TPR also regularly publishes summaries of High Frequency monitoring information and the special monitoring programme in the frequency band 405.9-406.2 MHz based on the reports received from administrations participating in these programmes.
TPR maintains the Master International Frequency Register (MIFR), the Maritime mobile Access and Retrieval System (MARS) database in support of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) and the database of frequencies for use in emergency and disaster relief situations.
TPR provides assistance to administrations with regards to notification issues (including notifications of coast stations and ship stations) and for resolving cases of harmful interference.
