研究歴

My research journey has started with non-tariff trade measures in agriculture trade. Later it has focused on trade standard compliance and finally grown into a broad topic -- sustainable agriculture development.

I am studying sustainable agriculture development from 1. production perspective, such as climate change and pollution adaptive technological adoption, contract farming, network studies in rural development and agriculture production; 2. consumption prospective, such as dietary change, purchase behavior adjustment, and climate change impact on migration.

Specifically, I have worked on projects including organic agriculture trade, agriculture global value chain, standard diffusion, sustainable standard development in agriculture and food sector, global risk studies (food safety), etc.

Currently I have been working on
1. COVID-19 impact on global value chain, particularly from agriculture and food prospects (supply chain and trade flow change, consumption behavior change, standard development etc.)
2. North to South and South to South agriculture trade
