This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
Porsche probably expected ea to continue making games like nfs 2, 3 and 4 instead of the fast and furious influenced games like underground 1, 2 and most wanted with tuned/imported cars...I'm glad we finally got Porsche in the game, I can't stand these BS exclusivity deals in games.
This makes sense though I can understand it from a business POV (and tbf both Underground & Underground 2 were still great games. Especially NFSU2 is one of my all time favorites). It's crazy to think that EA actually used to stand for well made games and weren't the laughing stock they are nowadays.Porsche probably expected ea to continue making games like nfs 2, 3 and 4 instead of the fast and furious influenced games like underground 1, 2 and most wanted with tuned/imported cars...
Damn Paul Walker and Vin Diesel!
Guess we're also lucky we didn't get the Porsche IRL BS deals in the game. If you don't know what I'm talking 'bout, Misha explains it here:Looks like a great birthday celebration. I'm glad we finally got Porsche in the game, I can't stand these BS exclusivity deals in games.
Guess we're also lucky we didn't get the Porsche IRL BS reals in the game. If you don't know what I'm talking 'bout, Misha explains it here:
Although that still would be better than the invite system!
Yeah, I can't stand this either. You offer a product for a certain price, you sell it to anyone who's willing to pay this price.I didn't know Porsche shared that elitist attitude with Ferrari (at least when it comes to their GT cars), that's really unfortunate.
Unlike the players. So Kaz finally received an invitation ticket!
