Commissioner Toshihide Endo Paid a Courtesy Call on H.E. U Soe Win, Union Minister for Planning and Finance of Republic of the Union of Myanmar

1. On March 11, Commissioner Endo paid a courtesy call on H.E. U. Soe Win, Union Minister for Planning and Finance of Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Naypyidaw, Myanmar.

2. Both sides exchanged their views on the situations of Myanmar’s financial and capital markets including its liberalization of insurance market to foreign insurance companies. Both shared the recognition that the bilateral cooperation between Japan and Myanmar in the areas of banking, securities, insurance and government bond is important.
