Public Comments Invited regarding the Proposal of Amendment of CITES Appendices

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) is inviting comments from the public regarding the proposal of listing the following seven species which are endemic to Japan on CITES Appendix III.

Goniurosaurus yamashinae (Yamashina's ground gecko)
Goniurosaurus splendens (Banded Ground Gecko)

ORDER: Caudata/Urodela
FAMILY: Salamandridae
Genus, species or subspecies:
Echinotriton andersoni (Anderson's crocodile newt, or Ryukyu spiny newt)

Comments will be accepted from July 31, 2020 to August 29, 2020.
All procedures related to this invitation for public comments will be conducted only in Japanese. Comments need to be submitted in Japanese.
