It is hereby informed that due to the containment measures taken in compliance of the Orders issued by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India vide order no. 40-3/2020- DM-I (A) dated 24.03.2020 followed by orders of even no. dated 14th April, 2020, 01st May, 2020, 17th May, 2020 and consequent closure of the University of Delhi vide Order no. F.No. Estab.II(i)/330/COVID-19/M/2020 dated 19th March, 2020, 31st March, 2020, 14th April, 2020, 3rd May 2020 and 17th May 2020 respectively, it had not been feasible to process the Applications filed under the RTI Act, if any.
The process is being initiated in view of the Order No. 40-3/2020-DM-I (A) dated 30th May, 2020 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA), Government of India followed by University Order F.No. Estab.II(i)/330/COVID-19/M/2020 31st May, 2020. However, there may be delay in processing the RTI Applications due to pendency on account of complete closure of the University.
Inconvenience caused on this account is regretted please.

It is, however, informed that the University endeavours to publish majority of relevant information regarding its functioning on its website, i.e., www.du.ac.in , under the various heads. Information regarding issues of common concern of RTI applicants like admission, examination, recruitment etc. amongst others are being published and updated on the website on regular basis.
Further, the contact details of the officers of the University are also available on the website under the head ‘contact us’ on the home page of the University.
